Unit in Beeville, Texas. During the ten years
he’s spent in prison, Foster studied political,
theological, spiritual, and philosophical
literature. He’s written two books of poetry,
Tribulation’s Eyes and Texas Tears, as well as
numerous articles and poems. Kenneth has an
11-year-old daughter, Naydesha. In 2007, Foster

Netherlands named Jav’lin. Before being
incarcerated, Foster attended college and started
his own business, Tribulation Records. |
Court Case
August 30, 2007 Texas Governor Rick Perry
approved of the Texas Board of Pardons’
recommendation to commute Foster’s death
sentence to life imprisonment. Foster was
convicted of murder under a Texas “law of
parties” statute, meaning that a person’s
involvement in the commission of the crime is
subject to the punishment for the crime. Foster
was sentenced to death along with Mauriceo
Brown for the 1996 murder of Michael LaHood.
Brown was convicted for shooting and killing
LaHood and Foster was convicted for driving the
getaway car away from the murder scene.
